NBFC is a new church in Leland, NC meeting at the 215 Old Fayetteville Road, Leland NC at 10:00 AM Sundays. Our fellowship is made up of people from many religious backgrounds who have found a home in an open, loving, missional, Christian Church. Presently we partner with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, of Atlanta, GA, and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of North Carolina. Contact our Pastors, Rob and Mickie Norman if you have questions. Enjoy our Weblog!
We aspire to develop:
Authenticity—being real; seeking to deal openly with our questions, struggles, and our search for God
Connection—building relationships, connecting with others who are fellow travelers as we journey together
Love—there is no greater gift or act of worship than loving God and loving others
Diversity—receiving all people no matter their background
Service—wanting to serve God with all we are and serve others in the manner of Jesus
Creativity—using spiritual gifts to be free and open in the expression of worship and ministry
Experience—participating in Hands on ministry that leads to experiencing Christianity in practical and meaningful ways
As followers of Jesus, we seek to live our faith each day in a loving way in our community. Our faith is a journey not a guilt trip! On this journey we want to share the good news of God’s presence among us and seek to accomplish our vision to:
- Help as many as possible come into a life changing relationship with Jesus. Seeking to engage people in positive conversation; loving others, meeting needs, being real and transparent and sharing our own life story.
- Help believers become better followers of Jesus. Through encouraging, training, mentoring, modeling and hands on participation we will help followers become more like Jesus.
- Build a fellowship of faith that is real, supportive and loving. Helping believers be honest and authentic; be unafraid to risk and explore life in Christ. Encourage and help one another as each faces life’s struggles. Build up and affirm rather than condemn and criticize.
- Reach out and minister to the needs of others in the name of Jesus. By empowering, teaching and sending the fellowship into the world. Jesus came demonstrating the Kingdom through ministry to others, caring for the poor, the sick, and the needy. We are seeking to do the same.
Come join us on the Journey! You will be glad you did.
