Today I had a heart catheterization. This was not something that I had planned to do at my age and really had a hope that I would never face having one. But, genetics and other factors had a different idea.
It is not easy learning that there is a problem with your heart, so the past week I have been a little nervous. Today I learned that i had a 85-90% blockage to a major artery. Fortunately, having the Cath, allowed the doctor to find the problem and put in a stent that has now restored my blood flow and significantly reduced my chance for a heart attack. For that I am grateful.
Sometimes things that come our way that seem so horrible actually work out for the good. If I had not had the test leading to my appointment of today, I could have had a heart attack and everyone, including myself as I would have been standing before the Lord, would have been saying, “I had no idea!”
I want to thank my great church family, and my own family and friends for all of the prayers and support that you have given me over the past week and on into the future. It is so wonderful to be a part of a church like North Brunswick Fellowship.
I also want to thank Pam Wooddell and others from Live Oak Real Estate for their support and concern. I could not have chosen a better group to work with in order to give me the means to continue the ministry at NBFC.
Tonight, sitting in the hospital, I want to thank the Lord for the goodness and mercy, love and grace that comes through God’s great hand. I think I will rest well.

Rob, we were looking for you today and read of your heart news. Sorry you had to go through that procedure; but glad they are able to fix the problem. We were trying to contact you to let you know that Gladys Collins is very sick and not expected to live. Her heart has worn out and they are not able to do anything for her. Of course, she is 90 and not surprised. We wish you a speedy recovery. Larry and Linda Boyer
